Campsite Rules
ALL Rubbish must be taken away with you.
Vehicles may only be brought onto the camping field with express permission of the Warden. Please note on your booking for this request.
Woodfires are encouraged for cooking. No ground fires on the main field, half barrels and stands are available.
Ground fires are allowed in the woods and only small fires in 2 existing trenches at ‘Brambles’.
Leave spare wood neatly stacked under a tree, not thrown into bushes.
Please do not bring wood on to site, there is a plentiful supply of dead fallen wood.
Please do not cut down or cause damage to any live trees.
No target sports are not allowed on site. (archery, tomahawks, guns etc)
Toilets and hand basins must be left clean.
Washing up facilities have been built on the side of the toilet block. Please do not take washing up into the toilets.
Quiet must be maintained between 10pm and 7am.
The Countryside Code should be observed at all times when using the site.
No fireworks or Chinese Lanterns allowed
We are surrounded by farms and livestock and the local farmers help us in many different ways so we do not want to upset them.
Waylands Scout Campsite and Southwark District Scout Council accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any property brought on to the site, regardless of the manner in which the loss or damage occurs. If any damage occurs to the campsite property please inform Bookings immediately.
